The National Sports Stadium of Mongolia

The National Sports Stadium of Mongolia, located in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, is a prominent sporting venue with significant historical significance. Established in 1958 with the assistance of China, the stadium showcases a durable construction design, incorporating reinforced concrete and brick elements. The central aspect of Tsengeldeh was completed in 1971 under the supervision of the Mongolian authorities.
With a seating capacity of 12,500 spectators, the stadium comprises 18 sectors, each encompassing 13 rows. The field itself spans an area of 105 meters by 68 meters, providing an expansive space for sporting events and exhibitions.
In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the People's Revolution in 1961, the Soyombot Column was erected in the square situated behind the institute, further enhancing the stadium's symbolic significance.
In 1993, the Central Stadium underwent a privatization process due to its inability to generate profits and revenue for the capital. Consequently, necessary improvements were initiated in 2014 to enhance the spectator experience. Notably, the old wooden chairs were renovated and replaced with individual seating featuring plastic backrests, offering enhanced comfort and convenience for attendees.
During the annual festival, the National Sport Stadium becomes a vibrant hub, attracting a multitude of people from both inside and outside the stadium, creating a lively atmosphere of celebration and festivity.
