We start our Mongolia Travel from Enza Tours LLC office. Before we start our tour guide and local driver will introduce them. On this trip You will enjoy the landscape of Mount Khogno Khan Nature Reserve, Orkhon valley and the dunes nearby called “Elsen Tasarkhai”, learn about the Buddhism and the history of Mongolia and hot spring. Day 1. Amarbayasgalant monastery

After breakfast, we start your journey to the Amarbayasgalant monastery. The Amarbayasgalant built in 1737 by the Great Mongolian Buddhist and sculptor Zanabazar under the command of Manchu emperor Yongyheng. Here visitors especially enjoy the magnificent art and architectural construction mixture of Manchu design reference. Despite extensive restoration by the UNESCO.

Day 2. Khugnu Khaan Nature Reserve

We will drive to the mountain “Khogno Khan” Nature Reserve. Once you reach the mountain, you will arrive at a nomadic family yurt in front of this beautiful forested rocky mountains. A mountain is a place of hundreds of birds, deer and gazelle. After we will go hiking around the area or to the small dunes nearby called “Elsen Tasarkhai”.

Day 3. Ugii Lake.

The lake covers 25 square km and is at an altitude of 1337 meters above sea level in Ugii Nuur Sum, Arkhangai Province. Ugii Lake is rich in perch and pike and renowned for its fishing. The annual catch from the lake of Ugii is 50 tons. A lake is also a beautiful place for watching Mongolian birdlife. We will drive to Lake Ugii where you can enjoy some hiking. On the way, we will take a break at an exciting colossal rock called “Taikhar” in the steppe.

Day 4. Tsenkher hot spring

After breakfast, we will drive to the Tsenkher hot springs. It is one of the most beautiful hot springs in Mongolia. It reaches a temperature of 86 degree from the forest and enriched by the minerals and optimum pH for the skin. That is why this hot spring mostly used for relaxing and resorting your health. Additionally, this area surrounded by the forest, mountains, and cattle from the nomadic family likewise yaks, horses.

Day 5. Tuvkhun monastery

Tuvkhun is one of the most beautiful monasteries and was built in stunning scenery on the top of the mountain between towering rock cliffs, surrounded by dense forests. It located in Bat-Ulziit small town of Uvurkhangai province and elevated in 2300 meters above sea level. The monastery established Bogd Gegeen Zanabazar who founded the Mongolian school of religious and art.

Day 6. Orkhon Valley

We will drive to the Ulaan Tsutgalan Waterfall; it is on the Ulaan River flows through volcanic basalt rocks formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes around twenty thousand years ago. The Waterfall cascades from an impressive height over 20 meters with a width around 10 meters and extends for 100 meters of the Orkhon River.

Day 7. Orkhon Valley

After the long horse trekking tour, we will stay one day here Waterfall to refresh ourselves for the next days. This day, we will cook traditional Mongolian Barbeque or dumplings for you. In the evening, we will play traditional Mongolian game Shagai, Khuruu and cards playing while having a Mongolian beer etc.

Day 8. Kharkhorum ancient capital and Erdenezuu monastery

The Kharakhorum was established in 1220 and was the capital city of the Great Mongolian Empire. Chinggis Khaan and his descendant Khaan Ugudei, Guyug, and Munkh lived here ruling the empire. Soldiers of the Chinese Ming Dynasty destroyed the town in the 14th Century. The ruins of Karakorum have been protected since 1961 and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Once we reach there, we will visit the “Erdenezuu” monastery to discover tombs, a temple, and a real Buddhist temple. After that, we will visit the Wall of the Mongolian Empire to learn information.

Day 9. Khustai National Park

We will drive to Khustai National Park to see Mongolian wild horses, Przewalski which were re-introduced back to its home and in 1993. Moreover, turn southwesterly along the Tuul River and its riverine forest meadows. At the park first, you will visit the Park museum and conference hall. Then we will discover the Takhi, the Asian wild horse. If you have a chance, see the wolf, argali sheep, and deer as well.
